PCM se fundó en 1982 con la producción del largometraje “Entre paréntesis” protagonizado por Victoria Abril y Eusebio Poncela, y casi de inmediato, entró en un período de inactividad hasta que en el año 1994 el productor Aureli de Luna, de larga y reconocida experiencia profesional la adquirió.

Entre los años 1995 y 1999 se rodaron algunos cortometrajes con los que la empresa fue adquiriendo experiencia y rodaje a la vez que se iba configurando como empresa con profesionales capaces para dar el salto a la producción de largometrajes con ciertas garantías de éxito.

PCM, en el 2000 realiza su primer largo “Només per tú” (Sólo por tí), en este caso para Televisión de Catalunya, bajo la dirección del veterano Jordi Cadena. Seguidamente produce el largometraje para cine “Nosotras” dirigido por Judith Colell en el cual se consiguió reunir una importante representación del panorama interpretativo del momento. “Nosotras” se estrenó en toda España y participó en distintos festivales internacionales donde le fueron otorgados varios premios en reconocimiento a sus méritos.

Entre 2000 y 2005 la productora se ha consolidado dentro del sector y se ha hecho un lugar en el panorama cinematográfico y televisivo actual. En este sentido, ha entrado en una etapa de crecimiento que le ha permitido producir en estos años, tres largometrajes cinematográficos, cinco telefilmes, tres cortometrajes y dos largometrajes documentales.

Por otra parte, PCM ha apostado por una decidida política de colaboración con otras productoras nacionales e internacionales, lo cual le ha permitido la participación en proyectos muy diversos y de distinta factura.

Attack of the PC

Every once in a great while I have issues with my computer going on the fritz. When it happens I can either take it into a computer shop or try to fix the issues myself. While I tend have pretty good success fixing my own problems sometimes it is really best to seek professional help ( at least that is what my therapist tells me ). Side note: hope you like my dry sense of humor :)
